Meals at the Hite house are unnspoken mandatory events. Now, that doesn't mean it was a bad thing, it's just that everyone knew that they were supposed to be home in time for dinner and to be awake and present for breakfast. The usual table conversation involved either proper eating etiquette or the correct use of "random" or "hap-hazard". Favorite meals included Indian Curry, Tatertot Caserole, and Grits.
